Hey! My name is Sidney.
I was born and raised in the beautiful Ventura County, California. For as long as I can remember, I have been creative...but never conventionally so. I wasn't exceptional at drawing or painting like some of my friends, nor was I a child piano prodigy (no matter how many lessons I was sent to). I was, however, always great with people. From a young age, I was very articulate and loved slipping "big words" into conversation. I would scour dictionaries for fun- one of my favorite words was loquacious: tending to talk a great deal; talkative.
Ironic, huh.
It wasn't until I got to college that I realized I could actually do something with this skill. After plenty of trial and error, I found myself studying Communication and Public Relations (PR). I spent lots of time in undergrad garnering as much hands on experience in my field of study as I possibly could. To be quite frank, I learned the hard way that sometimes you have to say no to new opportunities. Through many tribulations, though, I really found myself in PR. As I gained experience, I couldn't help but fall in love with how innovative creativity pairs with an in-depth understanding of people to create something beautiful.
Between my love for PR and connecting with people, you can find me reading at a local coffee shop and making videos of my friends and I! I film the things I don't want to forget so I can look back on my life and cherish the memories made along the way.
